THE BEGINNING – 130 YEARS AGO The history of the company goes back to the year 1884 when the Vilnius locomotive return depot was set up. On its basis, on 1 October 2003, Vilniaus Lokomotyvų Remonto Depas was established. FOR LITHUANIAN RAILWAYS AND FOREIGN COUNTRIES The company provides the major part of its services to its main customer – Lithuanian Railways. A significant share of production, however, is exported to Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Azerbaidzhan, and other foreign countries. 19 new shunting locomotives were manufactured in 2014. In addition, nearly 70 locomotives were repaired. Together with partners from Western Europe, track machines were manufactured and platforms for the transportation of railway switchers were repaired.
