Our mission is to promote sustainable development decisions, based on scientific researches and experts’ analysis, into Lithuanian business, politics and society. We encourage Lithuanian businesses to engage into the process of green policy development, as well as strengthening and execution of green business sector. Our team analyzes topics of circular economy, waste management, renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change, responsible consumption. We submit evidence based proposals, practical solutions and advocate for their implementation into the political decision making. Therefore, we maintain close relations with decision-makers on parliamentary, governmental and municipal levels. Also we collaborate with non-governmental organizations and companies of the highest environmental standards. Green Policy Institute was established in 2011 and since then systematically promotes ideas of green policy, develops international cooperation, environmental and ecological education activities by carrying projects on international, national and municipal level.
