Baltic Environmental Forum (BEF) Lithuania is a non-governmental organization working in the areas of environmental protection and sustainable development. The NGO is active in environmental policy-making, project management, lobbying, guidance, public education and awareness raising. BEF has extensive experience in safe and responsible control over hazardous substances, climate change, biodiversity protection and development of its favorable conservation status, water resources management and environmental management. Since 2003 BEF Lithuania belongs to an international BEF Group with offices in Latvia, Estonia, Germany and Russia. BEF Lithuania is the coordinator of the Lithuanian Environmental NGO’s Coalition activities.
