Transnational European Mediterranean Association for Cooperation (acronym.: TEMA) is officially registered Network which main aim is to promote cooperation between Baltic sea region and Arab countries. Members of TEMA are only organisations or institutions. Mission of TEMA is to bring together civil society and citizens across the European, Mediterranean and Arab regions in order to build trust and improve mutual understanding. Activities of TEMA: - developing and coordinating network of organisations, institutions and companies in order to act as a catalyst for their activities; - implement educational and cultural activities related to immigration and integration in our societies. - promote and developing educational programs; - contribute to cultural export and exchange programs; - promote and contribute to expanding international cooperation programs for responsible business. Actions One of the main capacities of the TEMA are experts who are coming from different fields such as: government, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, migration, formal and non-formal education, culture, business. TEMA stands as strong regional and international partner especially developing cooperation with EU or Nordic countries as it is based in Lithuania. Network unites Civil society organizations, Different Associations, Educational Institutions. In January 2017 TEMA signed agreement with Bibliotheca Alexandrina on cooperation in the counter extremism and terrorism program.
