Baltic Schema Therapy Institute was set up in 2019, by Latvian and Lithuanian psychotherapists Ilona Krone, Julius Neverauskas, Giedre Zalyte and Darius Dicevicius. The goal is to promote Schema therapy ideas and psychotherapy education in Baltic countries. The first initiative to cooperate our efforts between Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia emerged a few months earlier in 2019 Riga during the ISST trainer workshop. April 24, 2020, Baltic Schema Therapy Institute was certified by the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST) to provide an approved certification training program in Individual Schema Therapy. Program director Ilona Krone, a clinical psychologist, CBT therapist and ISST advanced schema therapy trainer, supervisor.
